Giuseppe Verdi's
Il Trovatore
served as the musical backdrop to
A Night at the Opera
, only to be unceremoniously lampooned by the antics of the Marx Brothers. Here

scene.

Miserere
. Lassparri (Walter W. King) has mysteriously disappeared, and Gottlieb must
get a replacement tenor - in a hurry. Luckily, Baroni (Alan Jones) agrees to
sing, on condition that Rosa (Kitty Carlisle) is permitted to accompany him in
the lead role. Gottlieb agrees.

Di Quella Pira
(arranged by Marco Milano). Tomasso causes havoc as he rips through the
scenery during the performance. Dropping wild pieces of scenery onto the stage
during Lassparri's performance didn't help matters, either.
